When will OU-C begin transition advising for students?
Winter 2012 for most 2 year degrees held here
at OU-C. Students with majors/degrees completed in Athens may
begin Winter or Spring quarter. |
How will a student know who their transition advisor will be?
Your Q2S advisor will be your regular advisor.
Check your my.ohio.edu or with the Hilltopper Advising Center if
you don’t know who that is. |
How will a student be contacted/learn that it is time and how
to make an appointment?
Each student should contact their academic
advisor or department, preferably via email, to schedule the
transition advising appointment. |
Where will advising appointments be held?
Usually in your advisor's office. |
What are the expectations of a student to prepare for and
attend the appointment?
• Report to your advisor’s office
• Arrive a few minutes early to your appointment
• Review your DARS report before you visit and prepare any
questions you may have.
• Review the Q2S information at

• Please allow at least 45 minutes for this appointment.
