Learning Commons

The Learning Commons in Stevenson Center, represents a convergence of information and technology, in an inviting environment, conducive to learning.  The following services are included:

• Quinn Library - staffed with professional reference librarians who can help you find information for your research

• Writing Center - tutors offer support with writing papers in all areas of the curriculum

• Math Center - help with math computation

• Tutoring Services - support for all classes

• Open Computer Lab - up-to-date computers with current software, scanners, color and black and white printing

• Help Desk - technology support for your questions on hardware, software, Blackboard, etc.

• Group Study Rooms - glass rooms equipped with technology can be reserved at the Help Desk

• Hilltop Café - open September - June - stop by for a cup of Starbucks coffee, lunch, or just a snack in between classes

The Learning Commons was designed with our students in mind.  The area offers an open floor plan with abundant windows, comfortable seating and ample study areas for individual and group study.  This is truly a student gathering area.

Hours of operation during the academic quarter (Fall, Winter and Spring):

• Monday through Thursday:  8AM - 9PM

• Friday:  8AM - 5PM

• Saturday:  12PM - 4PM

Summer Session:

• Monday through Thursday:  8AM - 7PM

• Friday:  8AM - 5PM

• Closed weekends

Breaks:

• Monday through Friday:  8AM - 5PM

• Closed Weekends
