The first priority of the Ohio University – Chillicothe Testing Center, is to provide a secure environment for individual students to complete proctored exams.  Focus is placed on placement testing for newly admitted students, students utilizing Accessibility Services, and those enrolled in online, arranged, and independent learning courses.  We also provide proctoring services for non-OU institutions, Colleges, and/or Universities.   The Testing Center does not provide in-class proctors for faculty.
Appointments must be scheduled in advance.  Prior to scheduling, students are encouraged to consult classroom materials, and/or consult with their instructor, for testing details such as deadline for testing, materials permitted for use during test, time allowed for testing, etc.  To schedule an appointment, please call, email or use the online scheduling system.  The link,  is provided at the left side of this page.

Before testing can commence, students must provide proof of identity
Examples include: government issued id (state ID card, driver’s license, or passport) or school (OHIO ID) card.

There are no fees for students taking Ohio University course or placement exams.  However, there is a proctoring fee of $20 as of Jan. 1, 2014 for all non OU colleges, universities etc.

The OU-Chillicothe Testing Center is dedicated to upholding high standards of security and academic integrity.  We continuously seek ways to improve our security and monitoring services as well as evaluating our procedures to improve efficiency, and the testing experience of our students.
