Supporting OU-Chillicothe through Giving
Alumni, Parents, and Friends:
With high enrollment and renovations that give the campus more of
the look and atmosphere of a quality small-campus setting that
promotes student learning and scholarship, these are banner days for
the Ohio University-Chillicothe Campus. The campus is now poised for
its greatest hour, and your support is important for our future
success and continued service to the community.
Although business terms are rarely used in describing higher
education, Ohio University-Chillicothe represents a sound investment
based on its proven record of fiscal stewardship, excellent faculty,
state of the art facilities as well as the growth and quality of
students who are earning their college degrees at the Chillicothe
Campus. Ohio University-Chillicothe offers several Associate and
Bachelor’s degree programs which offer numerous career
opportunities. Most of our students are from the South Central Ohio
region and many remain in the area to become accomplished
professionals and leaders in their communities.
As the first regional campus in the state, Ohio
University-Chillicothe has established a legacy as a leader in
higher education. For 65 years, the Chillicothe Campus has been
committed to providing a quality education at an affordable price.
As you see, the initiatives that are supported in this campaign will
help to ensure that the Chillicothe Campus continues to offer the
type of educational experience that prepares students from our
region for fulfilling careers and rewarding lives.
Recent achievements include the Parkway Project, which transformed
the look of campus; the growth of the Stevenson Center, a student
hub of the campus which houses the Learning Commons and a planned
Student Success Center; the Entrepreneurship and Technology Center,
that will open this fall, an increased number of endowed
scholarships which make a quality education accessible to students
from our region and the highest enrollment on record.
Your support will help insure the continued success of our
university in its mission to provide a quality education at an
affordable price to the Chillicothe region and the population of
South Central Ohio.
