ORCC tourney at Zanesville

April 7th
OUC shot 342 on a very windy day at the Kent State Tuscarawas golf tournament April 7th. The tournament was the final tuneup for OUC before conference play begins Friday April 13th.
Kent State Tuscarawas finished first with a score of 335 followed by O.U. Zanesville at 338, Ohio State Newark at 340 and OUC at 342.

O.U. Lancaster 388

Luke Williams led OUC with a round of 83
 

Ohio University Chillicothe won the Hilltopper Invitation Golf Tournament held March 23rd at Jaycee Golf Course with a score of 309. The Hilltoppers were led by Ryan Muncy’s 73 which was the low round of the tournament and Brayden Stocklin’s 77. Clinton Brown had a 79 and Ryan Welch finished with an 80 for the 309 total. Second place went to Shawnee State University with a 315 total and third place went to Cincinnati State at 325. Other school scores were Miami Hamilton 337, Miami Middletown 355, and OU Lancaster 372. OUC entered a second team, to round out the eight team event, which posted a 362 total led by Taylor Scott’s 83.

Ohio University Chillicothe opened its 2012 golf season March 16th and 17th at the two day Shawnee State University Invitational at the Elks Golf Club near Portsmouth Ohio.  The states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan and West Virginia  were all represented in the 9 teams tournament. 

OUC posted a two day total of 309-311 = 620 which was 6th, 24 strokes behind 1st place finisher Cedarville University.  Capital University finished second at 608 followed by Shawnee State at 609, Spring Arbor University at 613 and University of Pikeville at 614. OUC individual two day counted scores were:
