Circleville High grad Chelsea
Chelikowsky plans to play softball
at OU-C in 2013

Chelsea
Chelikowsky, a 2012 honors graduate from Circleville High
School, will attend Ohio University-Chillicothe campus and
participate on the women’s softball team during the 2013 season.
Chelikowsky was a scholar-athlete at Circleville and was a
member of the National Honor Society. She has been awarded the
Dean’s Freshman Excellence Scholarship from Ohio University.
Chelikowsky lettered in softball and volleyball at Circleville
High School and started at first base her senior year. She
sported a solid .314 batting average and had an outstanding .500
on-base percentage. She is expected to add to an already strong
softball program at OU-C.
OU-C has a well-rounded athletics program and fields women’s
teams in volleyball, basketball, softball and tennis, and men’s
teams in basketball, golf, baseball and tennis. The Chillicothe
Campus competes in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference.
Brooke Hoskins commits to OU-C Hilltoppers
Waverly High School
product Brooke Hoskins has committed to attend the Ohio
University-Chillicothe (OU-C) campus and join the Lady
Hilltoppers for the upcoming 2012 softball season. A perennial
All-Star while at Waverly, Brooke will bring her outstanding
abilities to an already strong Hilltopper squad. The Lady
Hilltoppers are the reigning 2011 Ohio Regional Campus
Conference champions.
Brooke was a 1st team Southern Ohio Conference (SOC) selection
again in 2011 and is also a three time 1st team all-district
selectee. She is expected to continue her success at the OU-C
campus next season. Brooke batted .445 this spring and added 4
HR’s, including 2 grand slams, during her senior season at
Waverly. Brooke also brings critically important summer travel
ball experience to her new team and has spent time at third
base, shortstop and catcher, adding to her versatility as a
player.
OU-C has a well-rounded athletics program and fields women’s
teams in volleyball, basketball, softball and tennis, and men’s
teams in basketball, golf, baseball and tennis. The Chillicothe
Campus competes in the Ohio Regional Campus Conference.
