Go
International
Ohio University is offering a
chance for local students to experience another culture without leaving
Ohio! Go International is a one-week program for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade
students in the Southeast Ohio area. In this program, students will live in
Ohio University Athens dorms with Japanese students, study basic Japanese
and cross-cultural communication by socializing with high school students
from Tokyo, have fun by participating in afternoon activities and field
trips, and receive an Ohio University certificate for successfully
completing the program. Two one-week sessions are being offered (students
can attend one or
both):
Session 1: Sunday, July 30 to Friday, August 4
Session 2: Sunday, August 6 to Friday, August 11
The cost is $225 and includes room (Sunday night through Friday night);
meals (Monday morning through Friday night); classes, activities,
certificate and field trips. Students also have the option of not staying in
the dormitory and the program would cost $60.

profession. Four classes, NURS 110 (Chillicothe and Berger), NURS 210, and
NURS 211 created the scrapbooks that are on display outside the Nursing
Office on the 1st floor of Bennett Hall. The winning scrapbook was created
by the Nursing 110 Chillicothe class. Congratulations to everyone that
