The Ohio University-Chillicthe campus Health and Wellness Center offers a variety of equipment and programs to meet your exercise and wellness needs.

  • Free Weight Area

  • Cybex Selectorized Equipment

  • Cardio Room

  • Indoor Walking Track

  • Aerobic Classes

  • Locker rooms

  • Full-size Basketball courts

  • Frisbee Golf Course - Variety of Frisbee discs available at the Wellness check-in desk

PROGRAMS
   Group Exercise Classes are free to members and $5.00 fee for nonmembers. Walk-ins welcome.

MEMBERSHIPS

Memberships are available at very reasonable fees for students, faculty, staff, alumni, community members, and senior citizens. Gift memberships are available at the Wellness check-in desk. Our staff has been trained in fitness, exercise, and customer service. They are available to answer your questions and to encourage you on your wellness path.

HEALTHY TIPS

If you cannot make it to the gym for your regular workout, even fifteen minutes of walking, jogging, and swimming are excellent ways to maintain weight and health.

Health and Wellness Center, the place to get fit.

Since 2003, the center has been a resource for OU-C students and community members.

Our center is designed to help people realize their goals and get fit. We combine our free weight area, Cybex Selectorized Equipment and cardio room in order to deliver the ultimate fitness experience.

At the Health and Wellness Center you'll find cardio and strength training equipment along with dynamic group exercise classes that includes group cycling, kickboxing, step, strength and tone, and Zumba. Most importantly, you'll find an energetic, supportive environment full of all kinds of people who are committed to help you achieve your fitness goal.

Our staff is here for you. Whether it is a mom looking to get in shape after having a baby, or someone preparing for a marathon or you have a few minutes between classes, we are here to help our members realize their potential and meet their goals.
